Why SKILLNOID is important



We strongly believe that Skillnoid is an important project - as a confirmation, just a few key statistics figures from recent US and Hungarian surveys:

  • 20% of adolescents among 15- to 17-year-old has a daily physical activity less than 10 minutes;

  • during the last 10 years (between 2011 and 2020) number of children who are member of any sport club decreased by 75%;

  • in 2020 the obesity prevalence was 21% among 6- to 11-year-olds, and 22% among 12- to 19-year-olds (it means more than 14 million children and adolescents only in US).

meanwhile

  • in average, a children get his/her first mobile phone at age 10;

  • 90% of children between age 13 and 18 plays video/mobile games;

  • and majority of them plays game every day (46% plays on phone, 27% on console and 17% on PC).

We cannot change the world with Skillnoid – but we can make a big step and could have a positive impact to the well-being of the video game players.
