Q&A section

Actions (games)

There are four kind of actions you could make on game screen (check the icons on the picture of the game on the right side). Not all of them are available anytime – it depends what is the status between your account and that game (like connected and activated or not).

  • highlight – With the star, you could highlight a connected game. By this you could mark this game as an important one to you, so Skillnoid will prefer this one when it has to choose a target for a target slot (auto-load). If possible, the AI will pick you targets primary from the highlighted games.

  • sleep – If you finished your game, you could send it to “sleep-mode” in Skillnoid as well. From this time (however the game is still connected and active), the AI will not pick any targets during auto-load from the sleeping ones.

  • delete – You could delete the game from your Skillnoid Game Library. By this you break off the connection between the game and your Skillnoid account. Of course, you could connect them with each other anytime, just add the game to your Game Library again.

  • jump – If the game has a webpage, you could directly jump there. Your phone will open the page in a browser window.

Actions (targets)

There are four kind of actions you could make on a screen of a specific target. Not all of them are available anytime – it depends what is the status between your account and that game (like connected and activated or not).

  • send to waiting queue – You send this target to the waiting queue. Next time when a target slot became empty, a target from the waiting queue will jump into it. You could manage this waiting queue anytime on the “Targets” screen – change the order of the waiting items, delete them from the queue or copy them.

  • sent to target slot – You will send this target to a target slot immediately. If there is already a target in that slot, you will replace it with this new one.

  • “I want this!” – With this preference, you could show how useful (in positive way) this target for you. By marking it, you highlight this very target for the auto-load. When the AI has to pick a target for an empty slot, it will primary choose a target with this preference.

  • “Meh…” – With this preference, you could show how useful (in negative way) this target for you. By marking it, you exclude this very target for the auto-load. When the AI has to pick a target for an empty slot, it will never choose a target with this preference.

Activity conversation

To work properly, Skillnoid needs data about your physical activity to convert it to in-game rewards for you. Currently, we use your GoogleFIT data to follow your movement – if you have a wearable device or use any other fitness/health app to collect your activity, all you need to do is linking them with your GoogleFit account to save your workout data. But don’t worry, if you do not have or use anything else but just your phone, Skillnoid will still work perfectly – only be sure that your phone is with you when you are moving. In the future, you will have a chance to synchronize your various devices or apps directly with Skillnoid – we are already working on this.

The synchronization is available for the last 72 hours – so any activity you made in the last three days could be linked to your Skillnoid account and used for acquiring (complete and unlock) targets. Your physical activity will be converted and saved for the actual target in the target slot. You will see a progress bar showing how far you are from acquire (complete and unlock) that target. The value next to this progress bar tell you, approximately how more time you have to walk to reach the requirement. Of course, if you make more intensive physical activity (like running, playing football, etc.) you will need less time to fulfil the goal.

Auto-Load (target slot)

If a target slot became empty – and you do not have valid items in your waiting queue, picked by you manually in advance – Skillnoid will fill the slot with a target, appointed by the AI.

On the “Target” screen, you could choose a load method (slot settings).

  • autofill (default) – The AI immediately pick a new target for the empty slot, based on your previous selections and the game actions (highlight/sleep) and target actions (preferences) you made earlier.

  • autofill after 5 minutes – Skillnoid will wait for 5 minutes, before the AI pick a new target for the empty slot. During these 5 minutes you could manually send a new target to the slot. If you miss to do this, Skillnoid will fill the empty slot automatically.

  • disable autofill – Skillnoid will not fill the empty slot automatically. You have to send manually a new target, until your choice this the slot remains empty.

During the auto-load, the AI will always try to pick an adequate target for you –it will choose based on your previous settings and the game actions (highlight/sleep) and target actions (preferences) you made earlier. So, you could fine-tune the AI with your former decisions and priorities. You can send targets manually to your waiting queue in advance. Skillnoid will pick from this list before the auto-load – so if there is at least one valid item, that will be your next target in the slot. You could manage the waiting targets by altering their order, deleting or copying them.

Companion system

Skillnoid is a companion system with a goal to convert your physical activity into in-game rewards. To use it, you have to have a valid copy of a game you want to connect to your Skillnoid account. So Skillnoid not sell you a game or give you an access to it anyhow – it is not a distribution channel.

Collect (unlocked targets)

When you acquire enough activity, the actual target in the target slot become “complete” – which means that you unlocked it. Your reward is now in a pending status and you have 72 hours to enter the respective game to collect it. So, to collect the unlocked target and to get your in-game reward you have to open the game – the collection will be made automatically and you will promptly get a confirmation within your game. You could have more than one pending item – from a same game or from different ones. There is a box icon on the right top corner of the application, which always shows you how many pending targets are ready to collect and what is the remaining time to do this (press the icon for the detailed list). If you miss to collect any pending target before the deadline, your reward is lost - however, you could easily unlock the target again by acquiring enough activity.

Limitations

There are three kind of limitations within Skillnoid.

  • activity daily limit – Skillnoid accept activity equal with cc. 4 hours of walking (or 2 hours of running) per day per user. This limitation is 50% higher with Premium account (cc. 6 hours of walking or 3 hours of running). If you reach the maximum daily activity amount, Skillnoid will not accept further data until the next day.

  • 24h – This is a target specific limitation (check “target details”). The number shows you that within 24 hours how many times you could acquire (complete and unlock) that specific target. If you reach the maximum 24h amount, Skillnoid will show this fact to you and will block that very target from the target slot for the end of this counter. Of course, however this specific target will be unavailable to you for a couple of hours, you could still choose and send to target slot any other target within the same game or from other games as well.

  • stack max – This is a target specific limitation (check “target details”). The number shows you that how many times you could acquire (complete and unlock) that specific target, before you have to collect them in the game. So, you could acquire the same target a few times (and stack these targets), before you go to the game and collect your rewards. If you reach the maximum stack amount, Skillnoid will show this fact to you and will block that very target from the target slot until you collect them in their game. Of course, however this specific target will be unavailable to you before you enter into that game, you could still choose and send to target slot any other target within the same game or from other games as well.
